1. Anti-collision protection:
The most vulnerable parts of the storage rack are the pillars in the aisles and corners, which are usually deformed by forklifts. Shelf suppliers have matching anti-collision columns according to different shelves, aisle widths and transportation tools. Anti-collision guardrails should be installed at the passage locations. The installation of anti-collision columns has a very important role in protecting the shelf columns.
2. Anti-stress:
The storage rack of different specifications are designed and manufactured according to the load bearing. Therefore, the weight of the goods placed on the shelf must be within the shelf load. The warehouse freight manager should do a good job on the shelves to carry the load limit sign. We must follow the principle of putting light
weight on the bottom of the shelf, that is, placing heavy objects on the bottom and light objects on the top.
3. Moisture-proof, sun-proof and rain-proof:
Although the storage rack and beams are metal products, and the surface is painted, but after being exposed to moisture, it may rust for a long time and affect the service life. Shelf laminates are mostly wooden boards, and the positions near the window are most susceptible to rain. After the rain, the wooden boards will deform and warp.
4. To stipulate the use of push-up vehicles by designated persons:
In particular, heavy-duty and high-rise rack warehouses must be equipped with power push vehicles. The use and operation of push vehicles must only be operated by certified personnel. Most of the warehouse racks’ columns were deformed due to collisions caused by non-designated personnel using push cars. In addition, the shelf beams are best customized in yellow to facilitate the identification of the operator.
Specify the standard pallet size and delivery size:
Commonly used pallet specifications are between 0.8 meters and 1.2 meters in length and width. For example, the length of the heavy beam type shelf beam is generally 2.5 meters, which is designed according to the width of 2 card boards. If the pallet used is non-standard, or the size of the goods placed on it exceeds 1.2 meters, a hard plug or a dead pull may hit the post when placing the goods on the shelf.
