The structure of the cable tray shall meet the requirements of strength, rigidity and stability, and shall meet the following requirements:

① The load-bearing capacity of the bridge frame shall not exceed the value of the maximum load when the bridge frame is initially permanently deformed divided by the safety factor of 1.5;

②The relative deflection value of the ladder frame and pallet under the allowable safe working load should not be greater than 1/200 for steel; not greater than 1/300 for aluminum alloy;

③The ratio of the deflection to the arm length of the steel supporting arm under the allowable load should not be greater than 1/100;

④The safety level circuit cable tray of nuclear power plant shall meet the design requirements of seismic class I items, and shall adopt both operational safety seismic vibration and extreme safety seismic vibration for seismic design.

When the cable tray is installed horizontally, select the best span and the most support according to the load, and the distance between the support points should be 1.5 to 3 meters. When installed vertically, the distance between the fixed points should not be greater than 2 meters. When the requirements cannot be met, a large-span cable tray should be used.

Except for technical mezzanine and special places, the horizontal section of the cable bridge should not be less than 2.5 meters above the ground, and the vertical section should not be less than 1.8 meters above the ground. Except in the electrical room, when the requirements cannot be met, measures should be taken to prevent mechanical damage.
